About Us
Beacon of Hope Cameroon is a Catholic nonprofit founded to serve underprivileged and vulnerable youth in the Republic of Cameroon. Through education and career orientation, we aim to build lasting opportunities for those too often left behind.
Our Story
Beacon of Hope Cameroon was established by Fr. Divine Fossoh, a Roman Catholic priest, in response to the growing need for educational access among youth in Cameroon. Rooted in faith and compassion, the organization was created to ensure that vulnerable children—especially those facing poverty, instability, or hardship—could pursue a brighter future.
Our mission is not driven by profit, but by purpose: to empower young people through knowledge, mentorship, and the kind of support that transforms lives. Over the years, we’ve developed a growing network of donors, volunteers, and advocates who share in this mission, bringing credibility, trust, and transparency to every step we take.
We believe in values that unite: justice, education, dignity, and faith. Our work spans scholarships, outreach, and youth-focused programming that responds directly to the challenges many Cameroonian families face. Whether it’s school fees, vocational training, or moral guidance, we meet children where they are and walk with them toward where they’re meant to be. At Beacon of Hope Cameroon, we don’t just provide assistance—we invest in potential, and we stand alongside those who need us most.
